# Creating a World

## Creating a world 

1. Open the navigator by clicking on the `Navigator` item or by using the command:

/worlds
```

   2\. Click on the chest icon to open the `World Navigator`.

   3\. Click on the `"+" skull` at the bottom of the navigator.

   4\. Decide whether you want to create a **predefined** **world** or a [**template**](https://buildsystem.eintosti.de/installing-buildsystem#installing-templates).

   5\. Enter the name of the world you want to create into the chat

The world name cannot contain spaces, dots and special symbols

## Installing templates

1. Place the world folder you wish to use as a template in the `templates` directory in the `BuildSystem` directory.

   2\. When creating a world now select the template you just added.
